The University of Eastern Finland hosted the annual network meeting of the Miracle Doctoral Network and the training school for the doctoral candidates. Next to the great talks and fantastic company, they treated us to the best views on Kuopio and the aurora!

On October 6th-7th, we hosted the general assembly of the ABCardionostics EIC-Pathfinder in Maastricht.

A well-organized lab makes research so much easier! Every now and then, old rules need revision and bad habits need correction. It's great to see PhD students taking the lead with concrete proposals and solutions in this new initiative called "Department of Lab Efficiency"!

Our annual lab city trip took us to London, for museums, beers, fish & chips, a Thames tour, some more beers, Alexander Fleming's lab and some old microscopes. Thanks to the organizers!

We combined the AtheroNeth kick-off meeting in Utrecht with the annual meeting of the Dutch Atherosclerosis Society in Zeist, where Aniek presented one of her projects.
